When it come to a hearty and delicious meal the last thing I consider is a salad; that was until I discovered the waldorf salad. I like to call it - "the salad for those who loathe/detest traditional" salad. If I had a default salad, this would be it.

The combination of fruits, nuts and vegetable in this recipe offers sweet and savoury with each bite. My favorite part of this recipe - it's easy and quick to toss together - plus it is very healthy.

What you need

  • 1/2 cup of red grapes
  • Lettuce
  • 1/4 cup celery
  • half red apple, cubed
  • Juice from half lemon
  • 2 table spoons chopped walnut
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 1 grilled chicken breast, cubed
  • salt and pepper

How To:

In a bowl, whisk lemon juice, yogurt, salt and pepper . Then, half the grapes and add to juice and yogurt mixture. Add the apple, celery, walnut and chicken breast - Toss together. 

Layer mixture on a bed of lettuce and serve.
